The castle features a neo-Gothic architectural design with thick walls, towers, and a surrounding park spanning 33 hectares of landscaped grounds.
Built in the 15th century with Renaissance elements, the castle underwent fortification in the 16th century and major reconstruction in 1871 by Count Henry-Louis de Tinguy.
The castle grounds host local events in the Longère de Beaupuy hall while maintaining its status as a regional architectural heritage site.
