The Sierroz Gorges is a canyon carved by the Sierroz river between Mont Revard and Lake Bourget. The rocky walls rise up to 20 meters high and stretch for about 800 meters along the river course.
The canyon was an important industrial center in the early 19th century with several mills and workshops powered by the river. Later the site gained protection status in 1910, becoming the first protected natural location in the Savoie region.

A well-maintained path runs along the canyon with parking available at the entrance. Two bridges anchored to the rock walls allow visitors to cross the river and explore different viewpoints.
The rock walls contain natural erosion formations that resemble a human face and other distinctive shapes that locals have named over time. These geological features have become part of the place's identity and visitors often look for them while walking.
