Krampus Expedition, Water coaster at Nigloland, France
The Krampus Expedition extends 1968 feet in length and reaches heights of 91 feet, offering passengers speeds up to 49 miles per hour during a four-minute journey.
The water coaster opened on June 12, 2021, following a construction period that began in October 2020, with an investment of 12 million euros from Nigloland.
The attraction incorporates elements from Alpine folklore through its theme, taking riders on an expedition through a mountainous setting in search of the mythological Krampus figure.
The ride accommodates eight passengers per car across four rows, maintaining an hourly capacity of 850 riders with a minimum height requirement of 110 centimeters.
The steel track combines traditional roller coaster elements with water features, including a splashdown sequence and a tunnel passage through a Krampus head structure.
