The museum occupies a neoclassical building next to Sakuleva River, featuring 600 pieces including paintings, sculptures, and engravings from Greek and international artists.
Founded by the Florinas House in 1977, the museum received a significant addition in 1999 when the National Gallery granted a work by Domenikos Theotokopoulos.
The permanent collection presents works by 254 artists, including notable creators such as Rengos, Plakotaris, and Mavridis, representing modern Greek artistic movements.
During winter months, visitors can explore the exhibitions daily from 17:00 to 20:00, while summer hours extend from 18:00 to 21:00.
The museum maintains a specialized library focusing on visual arts, an information archive, and an atelier designed for young individuals pursuing artistic interests.
