Florina Museum of Modern Art

The Florina Museum of Modern Art occupies a neoclassical building beside the Sakuleva River and displays around 600 works by Greek and international artists. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, and prints spanning different artistic traditions and periods.

The museum was established in 1977 by the Florinas family and received a major gift in 1999 when the National Gallery contributed a work by Domenikos Theotokopoulos. This acquisition marked a significant milestone in building the collection.

The collection features works by artists who shaped modern Greek art movements and regional creative traditions. Visitors can see how these works reflect the artistic directions that developed across Greece during the contemporary period.
