Kiasma

Kiasma is a contemporary art museum in Helsinki featuring curved walls and expansive windows that bring natural light into exhibition spaces across multiple levels. The building's design creates flowing areas where visitors move between galleries displaying modern and contemporary artworks.

The museum was founded in 1990 and relocated to its current building in 1998 following an architectural competition won by Steven Holl. This move established its place as a major venue for contemporary art in the region.

The museum displays work by Finnish and international artists through rotating exhibitions. You can encounter different artistic perspectives and contemporary approaches to creation as you move through the space.
