The Finnish Ice Hockey Museum exhibits photographs, trophies, uniforms, and equipment that represent the national sport's development over multiple generations.
Established in 1979, the museum moved from Tampere Ice Stadium to Museum Centre Vapriikki, where it continues to preserve Finnish ice hockey heritage.
The museum recognizes exceptional athletes, coaches, and officials through the Finnish Ice Hockey Lion title, with 280 inductees, including thirteen women.
Located at Alaverstaanraitti 5, the museum offers interactive simulators where visitors can test their goaltending and shooting skills during regular hours.
The exhibition includes the Canada Cup and World Championship trophies from 1995, 2011, and 2019, marking Finland's international victories.
