The settlement of Moravice extends across 3.6 square kilometers in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County region at an elevation of 564 meters.
The Serb population arrived in Moravice during 1585 following General Josip Turn of Karlovac's initiative to settle Vlach shepherds in the region.
The population of 509 residents represents a mix of Serbian and Croatian heritage, reflected in local family names such as Jakšić, Musulin, and Trbović.
The settlement contains a railway station that connects residents to other locations within Croatia and provides essential transportation services for the community.
Before its current name, the settlement underwent two name changes: Komorske Moravice until 1919 and Srpske Moravice until 1991.
