Stadion Maksimir, Football stadium in Maksimir district, Zagreb, Croatia
Stadion Maksimir is a sports facility with four separate stands featuring blue seats located in northeastern Zagreb. The venue includes athletic tracks and training facilities arranged around the main playing field.
The facility was built in 1912 with just a single stand and was much smaller in its early years. Major renovations in 1997 and 1998 transformed it into the current structure that holds about 40,000 spectators.
The stadium serves as the home ground for Dinamo Zagreb and hosts matches for the Croatian national team. It represents a gathering place where supporters show their passion for football.
The stadium is easily accessible by tram lines 11 or 12 from Ban Jelačić Square in downtown Zagreb. Ticket offices are located at the entrance of the facility.
The venue borders Maksimir Park, one of the city's largest green spaces. From the northern side of the stadium, visitors have direct access to this expansive natural area.
