St. Peter's Church, Catholic church in Petrova, Zagreb, Croatia

St. Peter's Church is a Catholic parish church at Vlaška 93, built in the form of a monumental cross. Its facade faces Vlaška Street, while its rear opens onto Petrova Street, which takes its name from the church. The building took its present cross-shaped form in 1926, when a new rectory was also built, and it was blessed by Bishop Franjo Salis-Sewis on 6 May 1933.

A parish church existed here by the 1590s, on the site of the abandoned church of St. Anthony; historian R. Strohal dates the new building to the 17th century. Emperor Joseph II abolished the parish in 1788 and turned the church into a military warehouse, against strong opposition. It was restored as a parish church in 1795, suppressed again from 1803 to 1823, then regained that status. Hermann Bollé drew up an enlargement plan in 1889, carried out in 1926, giving the church its cross shape; Bishop Franjo Salis-Sewis blessed it on 6 May 1933.

The church gave its name to Petrova Street behind it, while its facade faces Vlaška Street. The parish was abolished in 1788 under Joseph II and the building served as a military warehouse until 1795, then lost parish status again from 1803 to 1823 before being restored. As Zagreb grew, the parish was divided into many new parishes.

The building is a protected cultural good (Z-673), and cracks from the 2020 earthquakes remain visible on the walls and vault.
