Bizik family Zoo

The Bizik Family Zoo spans across 0.75 hectares of land, providing habitat for 475 animals representing 90 different species in specialized enclosures.

The zoo emerged in 1954 when Mirko Bizik introduced the first birds, and received official recognition in 1982 upon adding wolves to the collection.

This establishment functions as an educational center where visitors learn about various animal species through direct observation and organized programs.

The facility welcomes 20,000 visitors each year, offering them opportunities to observe both native Croatian wildlife and exotic animals from different continents.

The zoo maintains a collection of large cats, including African leopards and Asian tigers, alongside Australian kangaroos and North American raccoons.
