Seget Vranjica

Seget Vranjica is a coastal settlement on a peninsula near Trogir, nestled between forested areas and the Adriatic Sea. The village spreads along the waterfront with a sheltered harbor on the northern side and open bays facing toward the main shipping channel on the southern side.

The village started as a traditional fishing community but transformed into a tourist destination beginning in the 1980s. This shift reshaped the local economy and how residents earn their living.

Residents here maintain strong ties to fishing and seafaring traditions, though tourism now shapes much of daily life and economic activity. These connections show up in how the settlement is organized around its harbor and waterfront.

The settlement connects to nearby Trogir by regular bus services and is positioned about 10 kilometers from Split Airport, making it easily accessible. Expect the area to be busier during warmer months when tourism peaks.

The northern part of the settlement features a sheltered harbor while the southern section opens directly to shipping lanes and leisure bays. This contrast makes the place appealing to different kinds of visitors with varying interests.
