The Čiovo bridge extends 546 meters across the water with a width of 12 meters, connecting the mainland to the island of Čiovo.
Following its inauguration on July 17, 2018, the bridge underwent significant renovations in 2021, including structural repairs and system upgrades costing 20 million kuna.
The bridge design incorporates features that complement the surrounding UNESCO-protected city center while maintaining its primary function as a transportation link.
Vehicles and pedestrians can access both sides of the bridge throughout the day, with a dedicated lane ensuring safe passage between Trogir and Čiovo island.
The structure functions as a bascule bridge, allowing boats to pass underneath through a movable central span that can be raised when needed.
