The Čikat cove extends along the coastline with pine forests reaching down to the sandy beach and clear Mediterranean waters.
The development of Čikat began in the late 19th century when Ambrose Haracic planted an Aleppo pine forest that transformed the landscape.
The cove features several preserved Austrian nobility villas from the 19th century, including Villa Caroline and Villa Diana, now converted into hotels.
The beach offers facilities for water sports, tennis courts, and a children's playground with mini golf near the shoreline.
The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built in 1858 on Cape Anuncijata, remains a traditional votive shrine for local sailors.
