Pápa, Historical market town in Veszprém County, Hungary.

Pápa is a town in Veszprém County featuring numerous restored buildings from different periods, including the Great Church built between 1774 and 1786. The town center displays architecture spanning several centuries, reflecting its long history.

The settlement was first recorded in documents in 1061 as a royal estate and gained market privileges in the 14th century. These rights allowed it to develop into a major trade center in the region.

The Blue-Dyeing Museum displays traditional indigo fabric techniques that have been practiced in the region for generations. Visitors can observe the historical tools and methods used in this particular textile craft.

Thermal baths and a swimming complex offer recreation and relaxation facilities available throughout the year for visitors. Wearing comfortable shoes is advisable when exploring the restored town center.
