The parish church features a Greek cross layout with a central dome and marble altar adorned with a Virgin Mary statue.
French architect Charles Moreau designed this neo-classical structure between 1808 and 1818, modeling it after the Roman Pantheon.
The lower church contains a crypt where 54 members of the Esterházy family rest in bronze and marble sarcophagi.
The church maintains regular religious services under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Veszprém and accepts visitors throughout the year.
At the time of construction, the church dome stood as the largest architectural dome structure in Hungary.
