Labbacallee wedge tomb, Megalithic burial monument in Glanworth, Ireland.
The Labbacallee wedge tomb extends 7.75 meters in length and features three massive capstones, with the largest weighing approximately 10 tonnes.
Archaeological excavations in 1934 revealed multiple burials, including remains of an adult male, a child, and a female skull dating from 2202 BC.
The name Leaba Chaillí translates to 'hag's bed' in Irish, connecting the structure to regional tales about a Celtic goddess named Cailleach.
Visitors can reach the tomb by following R512 south from Glanworth, turning left at the first junction and continuing 1.5 kilometers to the signposted location.
The structure contains two separate chambers divided by a vertical slab, with the eastern chamber revealing a headless female skeleton during excavations.
