Daly's bridge, Pedestrian suspension bridge in County Cork, Ireland
The steel bridge stretches 160 feet across the River Lee, connecting Sunday's Well with Fitzgerald's Park in the Mardyke district.
James Daly funded the construction of this wrought iron bridge in 1927, replacing an earlier ferry service that transported residents across the river.
Local residents named it the Shakey Bridge due to the natural movement of the platform when people cross the structure.
The bridge provides a direct route for pedestrians and cyclists between the northern and southern sections of Cork City.
Engineers dismantled the entire structure into four sections during the 2019 restoration project to address structural corrosion issues.
