Mountshannon House, Neo-Palladian country house in Lisnagry, County Limerick, Ireland
The mansion featured a seven-bay entrance with four ionic columns and contained three hundred sixty-five windows across its grand structure.
Built in the mid-18th century, Mountshannon House served as the residence of John FitzGibbon, the first Earl of Clare and Lord Chancellor of Ireland.
The FitzGibbon family maintained the estate with numerous gardeners and hosted up to one hundred guests during summer social gatherings.
The estate covered 900 acres along the Limerick to Castleconnell road, bordered by the Mulkear River and the Shannon River.
The mansion entrance hall measured so large that a horse-drawn coach could pass directly through the building.
