Holy Trinity Church, Cork, Gothic Revival church in Cork, Ireland.
The limestone structure of Holy Trinity Church extends upward with buttresses, carved pinnacles, and Gothic arched windows featuring curvilinear cusped tracery patterns.
Construction of Holy Trinity Church started in 1829 under architect George Richard Pain, with work continuing until 1908 due to financial constraints during the Great Famine.
The church contains three stained glass panels created by Harry Clarke studios, including a window commissioned by Cork and District Trades and Labour Council.
Located on Father Mathew Quay, the church maintains regular services and offers visitors opportunities to explore its architectural features through self-guided tours.
The building required extensive use of cast iron in its foundation to ensure structural stability on marshy ground, supporting its 160-foot limestone spire.
