Tolka Valley Park spans 140 hectares along the River Tolka, featuring pasturelands, woodlands, and undulating fields between Pelletstown, Finglas, and Glasnevin.
The eastern section of the park occupies the former estate lands of Finglaswood House, with ruins dating from 1912 still present in the landscape.
The park includes multiple sports facilities with soccer pitches, GAA fields, and a municipal par-3 golf course for recreational activities.
The park operates from 10:00 AM until 5:30 PM during winter months and extends to 10:00 PM in summer, with gates closing 30 minutes before official times.
The integrated wetlands, constructed in 1999, filter stormwater from nearby roads and provide habitat for the common frog, listed in the European Red Data Book.
