Sutton Castle, Dublin, Victorian Tudor-style mansion in Howth Head, Ireland

The four-storey castle features terracotta tiling, art deco chimneys, a Gothic porch, and extensive terraced gardens overlooking Dublin Bay.

Originally built around 1890 by architect Alfred Darbyshire for industrialist Andrew Jameson, the castle replaced an earlier structure called Sutton House.

The property holds protected structure status from Fingal County Council due to its late 19th-century Victorian architectural elements and garden design.

After serving as a 19-bedroom hotel in the 1970s, the castle now contains 17 luxury apartments, with eight units in the main house and nine in the extension.

The castle experienced a fire in 1925 while the Jameson newlyweds were in New York, but workers restored it completely to its original condition.
