Kiryat Ono

Kiryat Ono is a residential city in the Tel Aviv District situated roughly 11 kilometers east of Tel Aviv on elevated terrain. The city features modern residential districts along with eleven educational institutions that shape daily community life.

The city began in 1939 as Kfar Ono and expanded significantly when it merged with neighboring communities in 1954. It gained city status in 1992, marking the completion of its administrative development.
