Havat Shikmim

Havat Shikmim is a sheep farm located in the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council in the northern Negev Desert. The property contains barns, storage structures, and various agricultural buildings spread across the working land near Sderot.

The farm was established in 1972 when someone acquired the land in this desert region and began developing it for sheep farming. Over time the operation grew into a permanent fixture within the northern Negev agricultural landscape.

The site maintains deep connections to Israeli agricultural development, representing the transformation of desert regions into productive farming establishments.

The property is set across wide open land with grazing areas and agricultural fields that are easy to navigate. The terrain is relatively dry and exposed, reflecting the climate of the Negev region.

The final resting place of former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and his wife Lily lies within the grounds of this working sheep ranch.
