Eshkol National Park spans 875 acres of land with natural habitats including riverbeds, fields, forests, and the substantial Ein HaBesor spring system.
The park area contains archaeological findings from multiple periods, including Tel Ein HaBesor with settlement layers from Middle Bronze Age through Hellenistic times.
The park bears the name of Levi Eshkol, who led Israel as Prime Minister from 1963 to 1969, marking his influence on the nation's development.
Visitors can access numerous walking trails, picnic areas with tables, swimming pools, children's play zones, and barbecue facilities throughout the grounds.
Ein HaBesor spring produces half a million cubic meters of water annually, creating a natural oasis in the Northern Negev landscape.
