Teerathgarh Falls, 300-foot waterfall in Bastar district, India

Teerathgarh Falls is a waterfall that cascades over multiple natural stone tiers in the Mungabahar River, creating patterns of white foam. The water flows in successive drops that shape the landscape of the area.

The falls lie on the Kanger River within Kanger Ghati National Park, about 35 km southwest of Jagdalpur. The water drops 91 metres in a single plunge over a stepped rock face of horizontal layers. The site is reached via Darbha junction on the Jagdalpur–Sukma state highway, from where jeeps carry visitors to the falls and the nearby Kutumsar Caves.

The falls lie inside Kanger Ghati National Park, and the surrounding forests are home to the Muria and Maria tribal communities. Visitors reach the site by jeep from Darbha junction, the same route used for the nearby Kutumsar Caves and Kailash Gufa.

The site lies about 35 kilometers southwest of Jagdalpur and is reachable by car. The best time to visit is between October and February, when conditions are most favorable.

The falls drop in a single plunge of 91 metres (299 ft), making them among India's highest waterfalls. The Kanger River feeds them inside Kanger Ghati National Park, and Kutumsar Caves and Kailash Gufa lie nearby.
