Kalamb Beach, Public beach in Maharashtra, India

Kalamb Beach is a long, isolated stretch of wet, dark sand at Nalasopara West near Nirmal village in Palghar District, the fourth beach in a row after Arnala, Navapur and Rajodi. Its sand is semi-black and thick, and a weathered wooden boat with horizontal slats inside its hull rests on the sand near the water.

The beach lies about 70 km from Mumbai, a journey of two to three hours, near Nirmal village in Palghar District. Road access runs off National Highway 8, the Mumbai–Ahmedabad highway, past the East West Flyover and along Wagholi Nirmal Road to Nirmal market naka.

By road, leave National Highway 8 at Nalasopara, cross the East West Flyover, follow Wagholi Nirmal Road and continue straight from Nirmal market naka. The sand is thick and semi-black.
