Jama Masjid Gulbarga

Jama Masjid Gulbarga is a mosque in Kalaburgi, India, featuring 250 arches and numerous domes covering the interior spaces. The structure spans considerable dimensions and uses a covered courtyard design rather than an open plaza.

The mosque was built in 1367 under Bahmani Sultan Mohammed Shah I after Gulbarga was made the capital. A Persian architect named Rafi led the construction project.
