Sri Santhana Venugopala Swamy Temple Thettu

Sri Santhana Venugopala Swamy Temple Thettu is a Hindu temple in Kurabalakota, Andhra Pradesh, designed with traditional Dravidian architectural forms. The building displays intricately carved stone sculptures and features a large stone tank called Bahuda Koneru.

The temple was founded about 1800 years ago during the Chola and Ganga dynasties and underwent significant later reconstruction. In 1298, the Hoysala King Veeraballava carried out extensive renovations that altered the temple's appearance.

The temple is honored through annual Brahmotsavam festivals held in March or April, drawing pilgrims from across the region. The multi-day celebration brings the community together and forms an important part of local religious life.
