Shri Laxmi Narsimha Temple, Hindu temple in Nira Narsingpur, Maharashtra, India

The temple complex features two representations of Lord Narasimha within its main sanctuary: one crafted from sand and another from black stone.

Construction of the temple began in 1787 under the patronage of Sardar Vitthal Shivdev Dani, requiring an investment of 450,000 rupees at that time.

The temple serves as the ancestral deity for numerous Maharashtra families, including former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and the Vinchurkar, Argade, and Mitrotri families.

The Vaisakh Navratri festival starts on the sixth day of the Vaisakh month and concludes on the fourteenth day, marking Narasimha Jayanti.

The temple structure, built in black stone following Peshwa architectural principles, required twenty years to reach completion in its current form.
