Niavaran Palace Complex, Royal residence and museum complex in Shemiranat County, Iran.
The Niavaran Palace spans 9,000 square meters across two and a half floors, featuring modern Iranian architecture with pre and post-Islamic decorative elements.
Initially built as a summer residence during the Qajar dynasty, the palace underwent reconstruction in 1958 and became Mohammad Reza Pahlavi's residence until 1979.
The Jahan Nama Museum section displays Persian artifacts, Egyptian antiquities, and artworks from various periods, representing Iran's cultural connections.
The palace complex includes multiple buildings, gardens, a private library containing 23,000 books, and specialized exhibition spaces open to visitors.
The Ahmad Shahi pavilion within the complex maintains its original brick facade from the Qajar period and now functions as an exhibition venue.
