Niavaran Park is a large green space in northern Tehran with extensive fountains and water features that dominate the landscape alongside flowering gardens and lawns. The park was established in 1969 and sits adjacent to former royal residences of the Qajar and Pahlavi dynasties. Its location next to these historical properties shaped its development as a public space in this important district.
