Tughrul Tower

The brick tower measures 20 meters in height with an outer diameter of 16 meters and walls ranging from 1.75 to 2.75 meters thick.

The structure dates back to the 12th century and underwent restoration work in 1884 under the orders of Naser al-Din Shah due to deterioration.

The tower incorporates 24 vertical angles in its design, displaying the architectural principles of the Seljuk period in Persian construction methods.

The monument opens daily from 10:00 to 17:00, with an entrance fee of 10,000 rial, and connects to Tehran through the underground metro system.

The interior of the tower contains specific acoustic properties that enhance and amplify sounds when someone stands in the center of the structure.
