Kharazmi University

Kharazmi University is a public research institution in Tehran operating across two campuses, with the main location housing faculties of physical education, management, law, political sciences, economics, art, and architecture. The institution began in 1919 as a teachers' training center before gaining university status in 1974. In 2012, it adopted its current name to honor the influential Persian mathematician Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi.
