Saat Tower

The Saat Tower is a clock tower with four clock faces mounted on the Municipality Palace of Tabriz, reaching approximately 30 meters high. The structure combines administrative offices, meeting rooms, and exhibition areas across multiple floors.

The structure was completed in 1934 under architect Avedis Ohanjanian and initially served as an administrative center for a political party. The city government took over the building after 1947 and has used it as municipal headquarters since then.

The tower marks the center of Tabriz's main square and serves as a visual reference point for locals navigating the city. The hourly chiming creates a rhythmic marker that punctuates daily life in this busy downtown area.
