Saat Tower, Clock tower in Tabriz, Iran
The Saat Tower features a 30.5-meter-high structure with four clock faces that chime every hour, standing atop the Municipality Palace of Tabriz.
The tower, completed in 1934 by architect Avedis Ohanjanian, served as the Government Office for the Azerbaijan Democrat Party before becoming municipal headquarters after 1947.
The Municipal Museum of Tabriz occupies sections of the building since 2007, displaying historical artifacts that represent the local heritage through exhibitions.
The building extends across three floors with 6,500 square meters of infrastructure and contains government offices, meeting halls, and exhibition spaces.
The exterior design of carved stone resembles a flying eagle, incorporating elements from pre-World War II German architectural influences into Iranian construction methods.
