Tehran Heritage Hostel is a hostel near Baharestan Square in District 12 of Tehran, Iran. It offers male and female dorms as well as private double rooms and yurts, which are ventilated tent-like spaces that share bathroom facilities.
The building that houses the hostel was restored to preserve some of the traditional Persian architectural features of the area. Elements from the older structure were kept alongside modern facilities for travelers.
The walls inside the hostel are decorated with notes and souvenirs left by past guests, giving the place a personal feel. The outdoor yard is a social spot where travelers gather to share meals or smoke hookah together.
The hostel does not accept credit or debit cards, so guests should bring enough cash for their stay, and currency exchange services are available nearby. Check-in is from 2 PM and check-out must be before noon.
Alongside standard dorms and private rooms, the hostel offers yurts inspired by traditional Iranian nomadic tents, which come with shared bathrooms. Children under 3 can sleep in the same bed as their parents at no extra charge, but pets are not allowed on the premises.
