Ice Hockey Iceland is the national ice hockey federation based in Reykjavik. It organizes competitions across all levels and manages both men's and women's national teams that represent the country internationally.
The federation became a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation in 1992. Its first participation in international competitions came in 1999 when the men's team entered the tournament circuit.
The national teams, known as the Icelandic Falcons, represent both men's and women's divisions in international competitions across Europe.
The federation manages player registrations and transfers throughout the country. Several ice rinks across Iceland host regular games and training sessions for teams at all levels.
In 2004, the Iceland men's national team achieved their largest victory margin with a 30-0 win against Armenia in international competition.
