Stadio Ennio Tardini, Football and rugby stadium in central Parma, Italy
Stadio Ennio Tardini is a football and rugby stadium in Parma with a seating capacity of approximately 22,000. The venue consists of four separate stands positioned between the city center and the historic city walls.
Construction of the stadium began in December 1922 under funding from Parma authorities. It officially opened in September 1924 and has served the city as a major sports venue ever since.
The Art Nouveau entrance gate links the stadium to the city's architectural tradition and remains a focal point for supporters gathering before matches. Local residents view the venue as part of their neighborhood's identity, where generations have celebrated victories together.
The stadium can be reached by bus lines 8, 9, or 11 from Parma central station. On match days, additional shuttle services operate for visiting supporters and extra public transport connections are available.
Beginning in 2025, the stadium is undergoing complete reconstruction with temporary facilities hosting matches during the renovation period. This major overhaul will significantly transform the venue and its surroundings.
