Santa Maria in Via Lata, Minor basilica at Via del Corso, Rome, Italy.

The church contains three bronze bells in its bell tower, constructed by Martino Longhi the Elder in 1580, with two bells dating from 1615 and 1465.

The first Christian place of worship on this site started as a fifth-century oratory built within the remains of a Roman warehouse beneath the current church.

The high altar displays a thirteenth-century icon of the Madonna Advocata, which holds religious significance for the local community through generations.

The basilica functions as the stational church for Tuesday in the fifth week of Lent and maintains regular religious services throughout the year.

The crypt beneath the church contains an altar with marble bas-relief by Cosimo Fancelli, marking the location where Saint Paul allegedly spent two years under house arrest.
