Palazzo Bonaparte, Renaissance palace near Piazza Venezia, Rome, Italy
The Palazzo Bonaparte exhibits two main facades facing Piazza Venezia and Via del Corso, featuring a rectangular portal and windows with shell motif decorations.
Giovanni Antonio De Rossi constructed the palace between 1657 and 1677 for the Marquises d'Aste, before Maria Letizia Bonaparte acquired it in 1818.
The noble floor contains eighteenth-century frescoes and stuccoes commissioned by the Rinuccini family, displaying the artistic preferences of Roman aristocracy.
The palace opens to visitors through guided tours and regularly hosts art exhibitions organized by Arthemisia in renovated spaces.
A green enclosed balcony, known as mignano, allowed Napoleon's mother to observe street life while maintaining privacy during her residence until 1836.
