Established in September 2004, the museum preserves significant rail artifacts including the 1915 Breda AEG locomotive from the Rome-Fiuggi railway line.
The exhibits demonstrate the evolution of public transportation in Rome through collections of locomotives, trams, and technical equipment from different periods.
The museum operates on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and Fridays from 14:30 to 17:30, with wheelchair access throughout the facility.
Visitors can examine the 1922 Carminati-Toselli locomotive and the 1931 ECD locomotive, which operated on the Rome-Civitacastellana-Viterbo railway line.
