Castello della Pietra, Medieval fortress in Vobbia, Italy

The castle stands between two natural rock spurs that form its foundations, overlooking the Vobbia stream valley from a strategic position.

The della Pietra family controlled this fortress until 1518, when ownership transferred to the Adorno family through official documentation in the Republic of Genoa.

The central hall of the castle now serves as a venue for theatrical performances, concerts, and exhibitions that showcase regional artistic expressions.

From April to October, guided tours operate every hour between 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM, with a maximum capacity of 25 participants per group.

Two separate water collection systems, carved directly into the rock, supplied the castle through channels that transported rainwater from the roof structures.
