The park displays 273 scale models of Italian landmarks and monuments across 85,000 square meters of landscaped grounds with 10,000 plants.
Ivo Rambaldi established Italia in Miniatura in 1970 after taking over 6,200 photographs of monuments throughout Italy to ensure accurate representations.
The park features a detailed 1:5 scale reproduction of Venice with 119 buildings and a miniature Grand Canal where visitors ride in gondolas.
The facility maintains different seasonal schedules, operating from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM during low season and until 6:30 PM in peak months.
Eighteen model trains run through the grounds while 300 kilometers of electric cables power the miniature displays and interactive elements.
