Stadio di Monigo, Rugby union stadium in Treviso, Italy.
The Stadio di Monigo is a rugby stadium in Treviso with two covered stands: the west tribune holds around 2,700 spectators and the east tribune around 2,300. The facility also features changing rooms, food and beverage areas, and parking for vehicles.
The stadium was built beginning in 1970 and officially opened on 25 October 1975, marking a new beginning for rugby in Treviso. The project shaped the city's sports infrastructure and helped grow the sport across the region.
The stadium is the home ground of Benetton Rugby and has been the gathering place where supporters watched the sport grow in northeastern Italy. The stands have become a focal point for rugby culture in the region over the decades.
The ground is most easily reached on foot or by car, with plenty of parking nearby. Visitors should be prepared for changing weather and wear sturdy shoes, especially during home matches with larger crowds.
During an international test match between Italy and Scotland in 1998, temporary stands were added and increased capacity to 10,000 seats. This exceptional event remains one of the highest attendance records in the ground's history.
