Kassianspitze

Located in the Sarentino Alps, Kassianspitze rises to 2,581 meters, featuring steep paths that transition from meadows through forests to rocky terrain at higher elevations.

The mountain served as a vital transit point when valleys were difficult to navigate, with ancient pathways still visible across the high pastures and plateaus.

The Croce di Lazfons, positioned near the mountain, represents one of South Tyrol's highest pilgrimage locations and includes the Black Godfather statue.

A complete mountain tour covers 19.5 kilometers with a 1,190-meter elevation change, starting from the Reinswald cable car station through marked trails numbered 7, 8B, and 9.

The summit features a dedicated photography panorama installation that frames views of the Ötztal, Zillertal, and Stubai Alps from its observation point.
