Palazzo Porto, Renaissance city palace in Vicenza, Italy.

Palazzo Porto incorporates three floors with a grand colonnade of Corinthian columns surrounding the central courtyard in a traditional Renaissance layout.

Andrea Palladio designed this residential building in 1550, incorporating principles from ancient Roman architecture while adapting them for modern noble living.

The palace represents a turning point in urban architecture as Palladio shifted from designing rural villas to creating sophisticated city residences for Venetian aristocrats.

The structure combines brick covered with stucco on its facade, demonstrating an economical building method that achieved an elegant appearance for wealthy patrons.

Palazzo Porto forms part of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Vicenza, alongside 23 other monuments within the town designed by Andrea Palladio.
