Casa Buonarroti, Art museum and house museum in Florence, Italy

The Casa Buonarroti displays early works by Michelangelo, including the Madonna della Scala and the Battle of the Centaurs marble reliefs.

The building, transformed into a museum in 1859, belonged to the Buonarroti family and contains an extensive collection of Michelangelo's drawings and sketches.

The museum preserves two hundred and five sheets of Michelangelo's drawings, regularly displayed in rotation on the second floor exhibition room.

The museum opens from Wednesday to Monday between 10:00 and 16:30, with entrance fees of 8 euros for adults and 5 euros for reduced tickets.

The collection includes the Model for the Facade of San Lorenzo, demonstrating Michelangelo's architectural vision for Florence's religious buildings.
