Round Belltower

The Round Belltower is a cylindrical structure with multiple levels and arched windows standing next to Città di Castello's Cathedral. The building now houses both a military museum and a religious museum dedicated to local history.

Architect Maginardo built this cylindrical structure during the Middle Ages, incorporating architectural elements from Ravenna into its design. The tower was created during a period when the city sought to showcase its building skills.

The military collection inside displays weapons, documents, and objects that reflect different periods of regional conflict and local history. These items help visitors understand how warfare shaped the area over time.

The entrance to the tower is located on Via del Modello 1, and the museum is open Tuesday through Sunday for visitors. It helps to check opening hours beforehand, especially if traveling from a distance.
