Mount Bibele rises roughly 617 meters above sea level in the Apennines and separates the drainage areas of the Idice and Zena rivers. The area contains an archaeological naturalistic zone with remains from ancient settlements.
Archaeological work uncovered burial sites dating from around 450 to 350 BCE, revealing that the area was home to different ancient populations. The findings come from both Etruscan and Celtic communities that coexisted here over time.
This area served as a meeting place for different peoples over centuries, and that shared history is visible in what remains today. Visitors can explore findings that show how communities from different backgrounds lived alongside one another.
