Castello di Ozegna, Medieval castle in Ozegna, Italy.

The castle stands with medieval towers and a Renaissance loggia, featuring internal frescoes and stucco decorations from the 16th and 17th centuries.

First mentioned in 1363 in Pietro Azario's 'De bello canepiciano', the castle was captured by Teobaldo d'Avanchier in 1433 during conflicts between Visconti and Savoy.

The castle contains preserved frescoes depicting the deeds of Count Bonifacio of San Martino, who transformed the structure into a noble residence.

The castle is located at Via Castello 2 in Ozegna, Province of Turin, and opens its doors during special FAI Spring Days events.

The northwest tower represents the oldest section of the castle, dating back to the 13th century, with architectural modifications added in 1595.
