San Pietro, Roman Catholic church in Tuili, Italy

San Pietro is a church in Tuili with a rectangular layout, a single nave, and three chapels on each side. The interior features an elevated sanctuary with barrel vaults, while the entrance has a stone portico and houses two 18th-century organs, one of which has been fully restored.

Construction of this church began in the 15th century and it received consecration on May 7, 1489. Significant modifications occurred in subsequent centuries, shaping the building into the form visitors see today.

The church houses an altarpiece created by the Master of Castelsardo that depicts scenes from Saint Peter's life, completed in the early 1500s. This artwork remains a focal point for visitors entering the building and reflects the religious devotion that shaped the space.

The church is located at Piazza Chiesa and is easy to find in the town. Visitors should be prepared for steps inside since the sanctuary is elevated, and it is worth taking time to view the organs and the altarpiece carefully.

The third chapel on the left side preserves elements from the original 15th-century construction, including a stellar ribbed vault with carved capitals. These architectural details offer a glimpse into the original building style and stand out distinctly from the rest of the later-modified interior.
